I have synaesthesia. When I taste spirits, I see colours, and those colours unfold into full scenes, shifting and moving with each glass. It's involuntary, which means it happens whether I want it to or not.

It taught me something I've never been able to un-know: no two people experience the same thing in the same glass. And that means there is no correct answer. There is just yours.

That's the foundation of every experience I create. Not a script about what you should taste. Not a hierarchy of who knows their whisky and who doesn't. Just a genuine, guided exploration of what's actually in front of you.
